If fewer than two working days’ notice is provided before the operative’s first day of airside access, a £35 urgency fee will be applied. This fee reflects Red Sky’s commitment to expedite the referencing and documentation process on our side.

This charge does not guarantee that the airside pass will be issued by the requested start date, as Red Sky has no control over the processing times of the airport’s ID Centre (IDC). The IDC reserves the right to delay or refuse the issuance of a pass at its discretion.

Please note: IDC costs vary between UK airports. You must confirm the exact fees directly with the relevant ID Centre.

Passport Upload Requirements

The airport uses automated systems to validate identity documents. To avoid delays or rejections, please ensure your passport upload meets the following standards:

📌 ID Requirements by Nationality

  • UK-born citizens may use a Driving Licence as proof of identity.

  • All other nationalities must provide a valid Passport or relevant Immigration Document.

⚠️ Important Passport Notices

  • All personnel must carry a physical copy of their valid passport at all times while working airside.Failure to do so will result in denial of access through airport security.

  • The uploaded passport copy must exactly match the physical passport presented. Do not upload expired or previous versions — the document must be current and valid.

📸 Recent Photo (Headshot / Selfie) Requirements

A Temporary ID requires a recent photograph of the applicant to be displayed on the pass.

⚠️ Important: Do not upload a passport photo page or a scan of your passport.

The ID Centre (IDC) requires a live-style headshot. If you upload an incorrect image (e.g., a passport scan), your application will be rejected by the IDC, causing delays in issuing your pass.

Note: At airports, temporary and visitor pass holders are not permitted to move airside unaccompanied.
